Ostara’s Children
The seeds being planted right now have the opportunity to blossom over summer and harvest in the fall. They are lessons of stepping into the unknown like the Great Eagle. It represents great strength, physically and spiritually. This time leading up to Mabon, one of my favorite holidays, is about being thrown into Karmic fires for the sake of your transformation. A barrier to this revolution is attempting to control everything — the outcome. This is a time of greatest surrender we have known yet. This is a time for all that from this incarnation on earth, as well as all our inheritances physical and psychological, must be burned down to the group into ash, so the Phoenix may arise renewed. This is where the Page of Wands meets us…
It asks me to allow space for dreams, visions, ideas — all creative in nature to help guide and allow the metamorphosis. Process asks me, us, to all sit in the prolific void and embrace insight, revelation — the vision.
In order to do this clearing I must be grounded in this reality. I must remember to tend to the vessel — my body, home and prayer. I must remember my circles of care that comfort and cleanse my spirit. I can’t forget nor temper my power to embody the mountain goat climbing up the next mountain leap by leap. I know how to build. So now I learn to surrender to the process as the mountain peaks.
What can help these seeds of fire craft ignite Vesta’s eternal flame which sits inside my solar plexus? The butterfly and The chariot’s medicine can. The air card, The butterfly is the gentle sweet reminder this moment is one of great transitions, likely unimaginable change, and often of the heart and its many layers, experiences and rhythms.
